Left Bank Art Studio
The Left Bank Art Studio is opening the doors for Fall 2016. Young artists are invited to come join me in my studio to make art and learn about the artists who inspire us. We will work with many mediums and lean into our own unique style. We will break some rules about art and have a lot of fun. I encourage what comes naturally to children: curiosity. I want to show my students a wide range of art and give them an introduction to fine art with the freedom to explore.

I have lived in Texas all of my life and was educated from day one about the beauty of nature, organic forms, color and shapes. I am a gardener, a painter, and someone who prefers the company of children. My formal training was completed at the University of Texas where I received a BFA in Art History and Studio Art. I have been working in three mediums for forty years: painting, assemblage, and collage. I make art because I am compelled every day to record what demands my attention – I am distracted by nature and spend most of my time outside.
